What affects the cost of car shipping?

Pickup and delivery locations, vehicle type and condition, open or enclosed transport, seasonal demand and pickup flexibility affect the quote. Boats need dimensions, weight and trailer details. Ask for a written quote showing included services and any additional charges.

Should I choose open or enclosed transport?

Open transport is an option for many everyday vehicles. An enclosed trailer adds a barrier against weather and road debris and may suit classic, luxury or exotic cars. Tell us about low clearance, modifications or special handling needs so we can discuss a suitable setup.

How long will pickup and delivery take?

The route, distance, vehicle readiness, access, weather and carrier schedule all matter. We discuss estimated pickup and delivery windows for your shipment. Same-day pickup and exact arrival times are not available for every route.

What should I know about insurance?

Ask for the assigned carrier’s insurance details before pickup. Coverage depends on the policy, vehicle and shipment; exclusions, limits and deductibles may apply. Confirm the claim procedure and document the vehicle’s condition at pickup and delivery.

Can you collect from an auction, dealer or port?

Yes. Share the release documents, lot or booking details, pickup contact and vehicle condition. Auction and port collection also depends on site rules, appointments, release status and access requirements.

How should I prepare my vehicle?

Remove valuables and loose items, photograph the vehicle, note existing damage and provide working keys. Tell us about leaks, mechanical problems, modifications or low clearance. Confirm the carrier’s fuel and personal-belongings requirements before pickup.
