Open car transport
An open carrier moves your car on an uncovered trailer. The vehicle is exposed to weather and road conditions during the trip. Tell us the model, running condition and pickup and delivery locations so we can discuss available equipment and quote the route.
Enclosed car transport
An enclosed trailer provides a covered space for your vehicle. If you are shipping an exotic, classic or low-clearance car, ask about trailer access and loading arrangements before booking. Car shipping questions before you book
What information do you need for a car shipping quote?
Send the pickup and delivery ZIP codes, vehicle year, make and model, running condition, preferred trailer type and pickup dates. Mention difficult access, modifications or unusual dimensions. For multiple vehicles, provide details for each one so we can discuss the full shipment.
Can you collect a car from an auction or dealership?
We arrange both. For auction vehicle pickup, have the lot information, release status and yard collection instructions ready. For dealership vehicle delivery, include a pickup contact and business hours. Vehicle readiness and loading access need to be confirmed before scheduling.
What if my vehicle does not run?
Tell us before requesting a quote. Describe whether it starts, rolls, steers and brakes, and whether the keys are available. Loading requirements vary; the equipment and pickup arrangements must be confirmed for that vehicle.
Can the carrier collect and deliver at my address?
Provide the exact locations and any gate, building or road restrictions. If the truck cannot safely reach an address, an accessible meeting location needs to be agreed with the carrier. Door-to-door service depends on safe and permitted truck access.
How do pickup dates and delivery dates work?
Share your preferred dates and any flexibility when requesting a quote. Pickup depends on vehicle readiness and carrier availability; delivery also depends on the route and operating conditions. Confirm the estimated windows before booking, and tell us if someone else will hand over or receive the vehicle.
Can I leave personal belongings in the car?
Ask before loading anything. Confirm the assigned carrier’s rules, any weight restrictions and whether belongings are covered. Do not assume that permission to carry a vehicle also includes personal items.
